Two Projects, One Vision

Mission Nepal is the vision of people in your community who truly care and want to make a difference in the lives of those who have been terribly impacted by the 2015 earthquakes in Nepal. Our vision is to work closely with these Nepalese communities to restore their lives back to normal.

The outreach in Colorado has been heartfelt and immense. From children selling chai tea at their schools to climbers flying across the country to support events in Boulder, the love and support is profound. We ask you to join us in our mission, one that will provide relief and infrastructure to rural communities in Nepal.

The Projects:

    • Rebuilding the school in Charikot, Dholaka District*. Located due east from Lukla, this school is one of many that were destroyed.
    • Rebuilding a hydro-plant in Sengma, Nepal. Located just north of Lukla, this hydro-plant is one of many that were destroyed.
    • Rebuilding Tumbuk Monastery and Community Building.  Located in Tumbuk District, this is an important community meeting place of religious importance that has been destroyed.

In April 2016, Mission Nepal sent funds to begin the rebuild of both projects.  We hope to send a team of volunteers  to Nepal this coming September to assist with the rebuilding efforts.

*Mission Nepal is happy to announce the Shree Janasewal Primary School in Gumela, Nepal received government funds in April 2016 to begin its rebuild.  With this great news we are able to direct our efforts & funds to another school in need in Chariot, Nepal.
